I had Tim paint the exterior of our home ten years ago and it still looks fantastic. Just recently needed some trim touched up and he sent some of his crew (Jarred and Matt) and they did a great job of it. Tim will always be my first call for a painter!
We hired Tim to paint the interior AND exterior of our house on Bainbridge - and are thrilled with the results! The outside paint job, including doors, is better quality than when the house was built, with colors that bring us into the modern era. A big thanks to our exterior crew of Jarred, Matt, Alyssa, Thomas, and Rocco. The inside paint job, and I mean literally every interior painted surface, is equally great despite the challenges it presented. Our color-drenched blue room (see photo) even made it onto the Room&Board homepage! A big shout out to our interior crew of John, Josh, Little Josh, Roger, Byron, and Dalton. Tim expertly managed the whole affair with good communication and reasonable prices. We think we have a painter for life.

I recently hired Tim Slater and his company to paint seven interior doors in my home, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. From start to finish, Tim was professional, punctual, and easy to communicate with. He showed up on time, kept me informed throughout the process, and made sure everything was done exactly as discussed. The quality of the work was excellent—each door was painted smoothly and evenly with great attention to detail. He took the time to prep properly and left everything clean when the job was finished. Tim and his team did an excellent job painting our log cabin.They used up a dozen tubes of caulk sealing gaps, put significant unanticipated work into reviving the tired multi pane windows, and the old cedar soaked up a lot more paint than expected. Yet Tim stood by his bid. It now looks so good that the County Assessor just changed its condition rating from "Fair" to "Excellent" and more than doubled its value. Bad news for us but good for Tim that his team could increase home value by 25x the price of a paint job!!

Professional cost effective interior painting for our house. They did a great job, especially on wall texturing. We also did some light fixture changes after the job was complete and payment was given and they came back to touch up around the fixtures free of charge.

I have an A-frame with high ceilings and interior walls that needed painting. After the initial assessment, it was clear to me that Tim was a straight shooter. We discussed my objectives and talked through a few options. I never felt pressured or like I was being talked into more. Once the team started, they were efficient, professional, and the end result is fantastic. I will recommend Tim Slater and his team to anybody looking for a painter, and when I need a painter, Tim will be the ONLY painter I call.
Tim’s team did a great job painting the exterior of our home—the price was fair. Also, the team was honest about what needed to be done to include some repairs and replacements of rotted window, siding and roofing trims. Tim himself was a good communicator and responded to questions and concerns during the process very quickly.
Tim Slater Painting came highly recommendation from a friend and they did not disappoint. Our house is not easy to paint! The team did an extremely thorough, precise and beautiful job. The house looks like new. From cleaning, prepping and finishing, everything was done professionally and at a competitive rate. Really happy we lucked out with Tim. Great service too.

They are Awesome. They remedied a couple of issues I had immediately after me bringing them to their attention, came over and quoted me a good price to get our interior painted, worked with our rushed schedule and all their crew was very polite, even with my kids running around during final inspection. I will be using them again on my exterior painting.

Tim and Alvaro did a fantastic job painting our new construction ADU. From tracking down the exact paint colors used on the main house so it would match, to working really hard and delivering a beautiful result, I’m very happy we chose Tim for the job.

From the time I called to get a quote, until the project was completed, I was completely impressed with the professionalism of Tim and his team. Tim's quote was on par with what we expected. What we didn't expect is his brutal honesty about what was necessary or what could be cut in order to save us money. He was upfront, honest, and took the time to explain the services. In addition, the level of communication I received was amazing. I never had to check up or reach out to him, because he kept me up to date on the process and timelines. I decided to go with Tim and his team, which was a no brainer. That may have been the easiest home improvement decision I have ever made. During the project, Rob (the lead) and the team were professional, thorough, and they did an amazing job. They were very respectful and took care to not damage or get paint anywhere, but on the house. Given the environmental conditions (windy) it was impressive. I was told the project would take approximatley 4 days to accomplish, which was about what I expected. However, the team worked dilligently and finished in 2 days. This was to avoid weather delays, because of rain in the forecast. All I can say, is I now have a painter for life in this area. And if I were to move, I'd seriously have to consider buying Tim and his guys plane tickets to come take care of our needs. One of the best experiences I have ever had with any business. 5-stars seems like a little low, but that's all they will allow me to rate him.
