We have used Eastern Waterproofing twice- they installed a sump pump and also diagnosed and repaired a sewer line. Both times the work was impeccable from start to finish. Living in a historic home, we needed to make sure that the work was done with extra care. We got several estimates and Eastern Waterproofing not only came in as best price-wise, but also with thoughtful options to resolve our issue. We were able to stick to our budget and we never felt pressured into a more expensive system. Jon and his team also left the worksite perfectly clean and were very friendly and professional.
This was the best team I have ever hired for home repair problem solving. No hard sell, pleasant, experienced, accommodating, 3 generations in business. The owner is attentive and available on site. Three new window wells I needed years ago but didn't know who to call. I wish all businesses were this honest, efficient, and effective.

we just had work done in our basement to solve our wet basement issues. from our initial meeting with Jon, to the workers coming on time and doing excellent work, to pleasant, conscientous workers, we were extrmely happy with the whole job. finding a local, family business that does great work is always a great find!five stars!
Dealing with basement water problems is bad enough, dealing with them right before our house went on the market was overwhelming. We placed calls to two companies. Eastern Waterproofing responded to our call within 24 hours. We made an appointment for that same week. The other company responded quickly as well, but we were told by the owner that our problem was common, he sent us photos of another basement and said they didn't need to see our home to fix it. Explaining our problem was only at the cellar door he stated they dig up around the entire foundation so we don't have to worry about other spots down the road. We didn't want our whole foundation compromised for a minor problem that happened rarely. We knew we wouldn't accept a quote from a mechanic if he hadn't seen our car yet but just lumped us in with the rest of the customers with the same problem. We had a great meeting with Jon from Eastern who explained our repair could be localized right at the steps. We immediately knew we had chosen the right company based on the personal service, his knowledge and his willingness to see firsthand what repair was needed. Jon thank you for a job well done, you were a pleasure to work with and we appreciate you squeezing us in before our home went on the market. The crew was great, obviously knew their job well and were very friendly and courteous. It was refreshing to work with such a great company.
